He did a great job, we had him longer than we have Schnoes now (Actually, we didn't even know if it was a He or She...). But now it's over. We will miss him, but we know for sure that our cat Schnoes will miss him even more (especially the water he swam in). No more fooling around with our visiting friends who thought the cat would eat the fish...

Terwijl de tour vandaag een rust dag heeft, kunnen we hier even genieten van wat foto's die ik gemaakt heb van de renners in de Tour de Suisse. De foto's zijn gemaakt in Davos-Dorf aan de voet van de beklimming naar de Fluela-pass. Hier de drie mannen aan de leiding

After an upgrade of my gentoo system, I got in some problems, first with compiling qt, and then with compiling the ati-drivers. After looking want might be wrong and looking for other with similar problems, I finally found out that some files in /usr/include/GL linked to non-existing files, in particular /usr/include/GL/gl.h.
Running eselect opengl set 2 (in my case for xorg-x11) fixed these non-existing links and my ati-drivers worked again!

 Afgelopen week waren we in Heerlen. Nadat we eerst de nieuwe rondweg hadden geopend (Burgemeester: U hoeft dus geen lintje meer door te knippen dus) kwamen deze bijzondere straat tegen.
Zouden ze in Engeland ook de "Wankerstreet" hebben of in de VS de "Jerk Avenue" ?
